Welcome Jim Shea to CVE
Jim Shea, PE, PTOE
Chagrin Valley Engineering, Ltd is proud to announce the addition of Jim Shea, PE, PTOE to the CVE team.
Jim adds traffic operations to CVE’s already broad foundation of professional engineering services.
His experience and reputation throughout northeast Ohio in transportation planning, roadway design, and traffic operations, allows CVE to expand their professional services to their public and private clients.
Throughout Jim’s career, he has provided design services on numerous urban roadway reconstruction, reconfiguration projects, traffic signal upgrades and ADA design. In addition to his design experience, Jim has led various traffic impact studies, corridor timing studies, traffic signal system design, and signing and pavement marking design.
He is a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer and has considerable experience in traffic analysis using HCS and corridor modeling and simulation using Synchro. Jim is also actively engaged in the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) where he has served in leadership positions for the ASHE Lake Erie Section, the Great Lakes Region and will start serving on the ASHE National Board in 2020.
