CVE WINS STATE AWARD FOR GIS PROJECT

CVE is proud to announce that we have received the 2016 OGRIP Best Practices Award for work in Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

CVE was one of three organizations honored at the recent 2016 Ohio GIS Conference by the Ohio Geographic Reference Information Program (OGRIP) for our work on the City of Avon’s GIS project.

The 2016 OGRIP Best Practices Award is given to an organization(s), which creates a project that facilitates multiple user needs, multi-participant involvement, multi-facility interaction/data sharing, use of GIS for decision analysis support and integration into daily operation.

In addition, the project must be consistent with the Federal Geographic Data Committee’s National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) framework.
